You can configure Auto-Mate rules to show alerts when rules have been executed. There are 2 types of alerts available:
1.System Tray Alerts
2.Desktop Alerts
You can select the type of alert using the Alert Options button on the Rule Properties window "Actions" tab.
Alert Options
Use the Alert Options window to set the Alert style.
 
Tray Alerts
The Tray Popup alert is animated and appears above the System Tray in the lower right corner of your Windows Desktop. It summarizes the number of messages affected by the rule and displays the custom message you configure in the rule. It is a self-dismissing window.
Desktop Alerts
The Desktop Dialog alert appears on the Desktop and can be configured to optionally show minimized. It lists multiple entries corresponding to each message affected by the rule.
You can select an item and using the buttons along the bottom of the window, open the item in its new location, get a short summary regarding the rule actions, or open the rule that affected that particular message.
